The UK has set a target to reduce Carbon Dioxide emissions by 20% by the year 2010. The Energy Saving Trust is the accreditation body that vets and accredits products with their coveted Energy Saving Logo. They are a non-profit organisation that is funded by the government and private sector.

They have two main goals:
